A beautiful 4 bedroomed house in a vibrant village close to golf courses and surfing beaches on the Silver Coast.

This is a spacious, refurbished property in the heart of a popular village, which benefits from a host of amenities, including cafés, mini-markets, post office, butcher, chemist, hardware store, health centre, hairdresser, creche, kindergarten, community centre and sports ground. For visitors there are guest houses and holiday complexes within the village. It is just 15 minutes from several beautiful beaches and excellent golf courses. The market town of Caldas da Rainha is 20 minutes away. It is 10 minutes from the historic town of Obidos. You can get to Lisbon in under an hour. There is a vibrant community of several nationalities in the local area and a host of events and clubs to suit all interests.
The house benefits from wonderful countryside views. The adjoining land is agricultural, so cannot be built on. Our friendly neighbours even allow us to use part of it as an allotment! From the large roof terrace you can enjoy the vistas as you soak up the sun. There are balconies to all the bedrooms and a large patio overlooking the beautiful garden, which is planted with a variety of colourful shrubs. There is a spacious workshop with a power supply, a barbeque and a handy garden shed. The garden has sun all day long. Although this is a very safe area, there is an alarm system with sensors in every room and an automatic outside light, all for extra peace of mind. There is also a large driveway.
You enter the house through a small porch. The kitchen - diner has been completely modernised, with units built by a local carpenter and tiled walls. The living room is dual aspect and a good size. The patio doors, like all the other doors and windows, have been replaced with top quality UPVC windows that both tilt and open. The pellet burner has a flame, but also powers all twelve radiators very economically. Each radiator has a thermostat. The roof space has been fully insulated. All the rooms have practical tiled floors.
The fourth bedroom, situated on the ground floor, is currently being used as a study/library. It has large built in wardrobes and a balcony, accessed by patio doors, where washing lines allow undercover drying in all weathers.
Completing the ground floor there is a large storage cupboard which goes round under the stairs and a tasteful, fully tiled bathroom with a bath/shower and bidet.
A skylight provides natural light to the stairs and landing. The two double bedrooms on this floor both have built in wardrobes and the other bedroom is large enough for a double bed. The master bedroom has a large en suite bathroom, which mirrors the one downstairs, and there is also a guest bathroom with a shower cubicle. Both upstairs bathrooms have heated towel rails. The wrap around balcony leads to a spacious sun terrace with stunning views.
